Assignment Title: Financial Management Specialist Reference No. (as per Procurement Plan): AMP/IC/3.3
The Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Economy (MAFWE) has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Agriculture Modernization Project (AMP) and intends to apply part of the proceeds for consulting services.
The consulting services (“the Services”) include financial management activities and procedures for ensuring that resources of the project are used efficiently and effectively and disbursed for their intended purpose and in accordance to the Loan and Grant Agreement, including the applicable “World Bank Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers”, dated July 2016, revised November 2017 and August 2018[1] (collectively known as “Procurement Regulations”) as well as the “Anti-Corruption Guidelines (the “Guidelines on Preventing and Combating Fraud and Corruption in Projects Financed by IBRD Loans and IDA Credits and Grants”, dated October 15, 2006 and revised in January 2011 and as of July 1, 2016.)[2].
The Financial Management Specialist is expected to work full time. The contract will be for an initial period of 3 months, and based on satisfactory performance of the incumbent’s duties and responsibilities and business need of the MAFWE, the contract will be extended until June 30, 2025. A Consultant will be selected in accordance with the Open Competitive Selection of Individual Consultants method set out in the Procurement Regulations.
